René De Koster教授，國際知名專家，Operations Research(OR)、Transportation Science(TS)副主編和Journal of Operations Management(JOM)期刊咨詢委員會編輯，同時也是包括OR, JOM, IIE T, IJOPM在內的多個學術期刊的編輯。Koster教授現為荷蘭伊拉斯姆斯大學鹿特丹商意昂2終身教授，其主要研究方向為倉儲、物料運輸✢、集裝箱碼頭運作🫃🏽、行為運作和可持續物流與供應鏈🧛🏿‍♀️，並在相關領域有超過230篇論文發表，且都在OR, POM, JOM, TS, IISE T, EJOR, and Interfaces等國際知名期刊上。同時，Koster教授兼任 fellow of two reseach schools, member of the European Logistics Association (ELA) R&D board, member of the BVL Scientific Advisory Board, chairman of two Dutch logistics awards, chairman of Stichting Logistica, and founder of the Material Handling Forum.

演講內容簡介：

The new generation of warehouses will be fully robotized. Managers can select from different competitive robotic techniques to fulfill the customer orders. In my talk, I will give an overview of new and current automated order picking methods and systems and compare them for use and fit. Recently, models have been developed, which can help to analyze performance of robotic order picking systems and subsequently optimize systems for costs, throughput and response time. The models can also be used to compare the most popular robotic techniques.
